i was currious to see if anyone was actually living in a container. i was thinking of either building one or having someone build one on my [property (as a spare guest house)

any help would be appreciated !

Oh yes. Lots of people live in shipping container homes. The military has been living in them for over 50 years. If you surf the internet you will see lots of people living in very modern style shipping container homes. In fact, I went and visited a container home apartment complex in Amsterdam. It was incredible, they were stacked as if they were on a ship, 9 high. Students were living in them.
My company has build over 14 homes so far for people to live in.
